How to play Hit N Blow

Hit N Blow is a code-breaking puzzle from the same family as Hit & Blow, Mastermind and Bulls and Cows. Four colored beads are locked in the drawer, and you get eight guesses to name every color and its hole.

After each guess, pins drop into the plate above the column. A red pin is a hit: a bead is the right color in the right hole. A white pin is a blow: the color is in the code, but in another hole. Pins never say which bead earned them, so compare your columns and rule colors out.
